LIP C'est Possible

On June 18th, 1973, all the workers at LIP, united to oppose the dismantling of their means of livelihood, echoed the words just spoken by Charles PIAGET: "C'est possible! on fabrique, on vend, on se paye." (It's possible! We manufacture, we sell, we get paid.) This phrase, now famous, still embodies the struggle of the men and women now known as "les LIP."

50 years after the start of the factory occupation by the employees, the brand commemorates not only the commitment of these men and women in a conflict that became a symbol of workers' struggle to safeguard their means of livelihood, but also proclaims that it's possible! LIP watches are manufactured in France, in Besançon!
