This new LIP T18 Churchill is adorned today with real diamonds, which adds a certain refinement to it. This version respects the Art Deco spirit of the early 1930s and has a vintage charm that is still current. Which makes her a model often copied but rarely equalled.
A French story
The manufacture of the Type 18 caliber will begin in 1935 just before the 39-45 war. During this conflict, the company moved to the center of France, then to the south, to Valence. At the end of the conflict, LIP returned to Besançon. The "T18" then leaves the workshops. A highly modern caliber with its small seconds counter, an all-gold model was offered to Sir Winston Churchill in 1948.
