A French history

Roger Tallon is a French designer considered to be one of the most important in the French industrial world. A pioneer and visionary, he designed the TGV: ergonomics, colours, lighting, visual identity. He is the first designer to create watches for a watch company. He also created the famous spiral staircases and worked for General Motors for seven years. As a teacher, he opened the first industrial design course by organizing the design department of the École nationale de arts décoratifs in Paris.
