Charles de Gaulle, born on November 22, 1890 in Lille, in the department of the North and died on November 9, 1970 in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises (Haute-Marne), is a French general and statesman.
This watch was marketed in 1958. Excellent chronometry and quality are the revolutionary assets of this model. First electric watch that opened the way to quartz watches, Fred LIP offered it, in preview, to General de Gaulle and later to General Eisenhower.
